Good night for Obama; bad night for the Beeb...

. Sorry but the coverage on the Beeb was terrible; on TV at least. Hardly any acknowledgment of the races for the Senate and painfully slow to call states...it was a bigger scandal than Ross/Brand/Clarkson all rolled together....

If anything shoots the beeb in the foot it's this. Why on earth have they made their own pretty cruddy programme when they could have bought in something much more professional from a US channel
(not Fox however!)?

Indeed, the BBC coverage was beyond poor.

Sad, really. I watched MSNBC for the most part, but when my Wi-fi played up I forced to go over to the Beeb.

Why not get someone like PJ O'Rourke in or Michael Moore? Rather than boring suits. Have a bit of fun if you're going to treat us like morons.

I complained to the Beeb about their farcical local elections results coverage in May. Although I got the brush-off, if people continue making the point, the Beeb might eventually get the message.
